200 willows planted at School (28-1-09)
On Monday 26th January, Julie Palmer from Whim-Wham Willow helped by pupils, parents and members of the Gardening Club constructed a Living Willow Stucture at the School. The tunnel and dome was constructed from nearly 200 willow rods and each one was planted by the children at Cropwell Bishop School. Willow Domes make a wonderful area of dappled shade, somewhere to sit quietly, to laze or simply hide. For children a dome can be used as a den or an alternative to a wendy house.Just watch it grow!
