Picnic in th Park (6-7-08)

Our very own Picnic in the Park attracted hundreds to the Memorial Hall Park and, in a relaxed atmosphere, friends and family sat back, supped and nibbled as they listened and danced to a variety of live music on stage. A little bit of Glastonbury in our own Vilage - in more ways than one! Yes it did rain, but not before nearly three hours of music and, even then, it was only a drizzle for much of the time. It may have been enough to dampen the grass, but not the spirits of those who stayed, even though dancing in raincoats was awkward at times. Enjoy looking through the snaps below.
