Gardens of the National Trust (16-3-09)

Stuart Dixon Stuart Dixon lives just the other side of the River Trent and has spent his life sharing his knowledge of plants and gardens. Nowadays he spends more time telling others about the glories of great gardens.

At this meeting of the Gardening Club he used his numerous slides to show us the best of National Trust gardens. The National Trust has the resources to restore the gardens of Country Houses to their very best. In fact, in many cases, they probably now look better than when their original owners were raking the soil - well, their staff.

Over 40 people sat back and enjoyed the pictures and his entertaining commentary.
